During my visit, no one seemed really interested in me, just into what THEY were doing. This was a stark contrast to Rice and after visiting Emory, I made the decision to no longer apply to Emory at all was planning to do ED before and now I know that I'll be happy attending Rice this fall.

In my experience, Emory is plenty friendly, although it might not seem that way depending on if you went say on some cold damp day when students are trying to get to class or are busy doing their own thing.
